Major Aditya (Adi) Iyer is currently a student at the School of Advanced Military Studies and recently graduated as an Art of War Scholar from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS. He was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2002. He has a BA in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Engineer Corps through the Reserve Officer Training Command program in 2012. His education also includes the Engineer Captain’s Career Course, a Master in Geology from the University of Missouri Science and Technology, and military education at the Airborne School, Jumpmaster School and Sapper Leaders Course. His overseas assignments have brought him to Korea, Kuwait and Ghana. Adi and his beautiful wife, Norelle, have two children, Aaryan (2) and Lily (newborn).
