Major Ben Flores, USA, currently serves as the Executive Officer for the Deputy Commanding General (Strategy and Plans), U.S. Army Pacific. He hails from Fresno, California, and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he commissioned as an Infantry officer in 2007. Major Flores has served in a variety of assignments in Stryker, Air Assault and Airborne units including Stryker Platoon Leader, Scout Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Assistant Operations Officer, Weapons Company Commander, Battalion Operations Officer and Battalion Executive Officer. He also served as an Assistant Professor of U.S. History at West Point. His operational experience includes two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. He has a BS in History from West Point and an MA in History from the University of Arizona.
